Research shows that in the UK 1 in 6 meals are now eaten outside the home, therefore it is vital that consumers have access to well-balanced and nutritious food. The Sheffield Healthy Choices Award recognises caterers who offer their customers healthier food choice and preparation, to enable them to achieve a well-balanced and nutritious diet.

How to get involved:

If you own or run a catering outlet and would like to get involved, then it is easy, all you have to do is achieve 3 stars or higher on the Sheffield City Council’s ‘Scores on the Doors’ programme. and offer healthy alternatives on your menu.

On achieving the Award, caterers will benefit from:
